Our collective agreement expires December 31, 2012.
Bargaining will start this fall. To prepare and set goals, your bargaining
teams need to know your priorities.

The “OPS Bargaining Issues Survey” is the first step toward
setting those goals, or demand-setting.

As you consider your priorities, ask yourself:

• What matters most to me, my family, and my co-workers?

• What collective agreement changes will protect public
services?

• What are the greatest threats to my job?

• What can we take to the table to keep the employer from
dividing and conquering us?

• What action am I willing to take to help my bargaining
team deliver the clear message to the employer that the members of my union are
standing strong and sticking together?

It’s important that you fill out the survey and return it to
your local. Watch for more information and notice of your local demand-set
meeting. For further updates and to download the survey, please go to
opseu.org/ops.
